You can add between 5 and 15 stories to the Book of Memories. The length of each story is up to 1,000 characters. This format allows you to gather the most precious memories while keeping the book easy to read.
Yes, you can add one photograph to each story. This helps make the book more personal and complements your memories with visual images of loved ones, events, or places.
We do not change the writing style or rewrite your texts. It is important to us to preserve your voice and storytelling style. Before formatting, we only check the texts for technical errors, such as typos, autocorrect mistakes, punctuation, and spelling inaccuracies.
To help with this, we created a dedicated assistant bot. While you write each story, it suggests topics, questions, and prompts to help you recall important events, family traditions, and stories about relatives. Even if you feel like you have nothing to share, these prompts will help you uncover fascinating memories.
Yes, we offer an additional service for collecting and preparing materials for the Book of Memories. This is perfect for those who want to preserve family stories but do not have the time or ability to write them down themselves.
As part of this service, we will:
Conduct interviews with up to three people (up to 1 hour each);
Transcribe and organize the stories we hear;
Prepare the texts for the final book.
All we need from you is to provide the contact information of the people to be interviewed, coordinate a convenient time for the conversation with them, and, if necessary, help set up an online meeting via Zoom, Google Meet, or another convenient platform.
On average, the process of creating a Book of Memories takes about two months. The first 20 days are dedicated to writing and collecting stories. After that, we handle text editing, book design and formatting, printing, and shipping.
We offer two participation formats:
100 EUR — if you write and submit your stories yourself.
300 EUR — if you would like our help collecting memories and preparing texts. This price includes conducting up to three interviews, transcribing and organizing the stories, and preparing the texts for the book.
Both options include print preparation, formatting, and the printing of the final physical copy.
